The student dormitories are all conveniently located within walking distance from the Tel Aviv University campus. Dormitories are divided into suites of one or two bedrooms; two students share each bedroom. Each suite is furnished and includes a kitchenette and bathroom. Please note that the following items are not supplied by the University: blankets, pillows, towels, kitchen utensils and household goods.

Students may bring their own linens and electrical appliances or choose to rent from an Israeli company that provides these supplies, such as 4-Less. 4-Less can be reached online at info@4less-llc.com or via toll-free phone at (866) 404-5377. The following quantities of linens are usually sufficient: two blankets, two to four sheets, two pillowcases, one pillow, and four towels. Please note that beds in the dorms are slightly longer and narrower than American twin beds.

Students who wish to room with a friend may indicate this on their Confirmation Form. Also, students who wish to live with an Israeli may indicate this on their form. However please note that this living arrangement is only available to year-long and fall semester students.

A self-service laundry is located directly across from the dorm complex. Additional laundry and cleaning facilities are available in nearby shopping centers.

Some overseas students choose to live in nearby off-campus apartments. Sharing a standard apartment with one or two roommates may cost the same as the cost of the dorms. However, a place in the dorms will be reserved for you unless you specify otherwise prior to the payment deadline as set by the Office of Academic Affairs. TAU is not able to refunds students for early withdrawal from the dorms. (see Refund Schedule in our Billing Terms).
