SUMMER/WINTER ULPAN

INTENSIVE HEBREW COURSE (ULPAN)
The Ulpan is offered twice each year, in the summer and winter prior to the beginning
of each semester. Undergraduate and graduate students alike enroll in this course
prior to beginning their overseas programs. The goal of this course is to equip
students with the language skills required to enhance their Israel experience.
Additionally, students may apply only for
the Ulpan and earn a total of 6 academic
credits upon successful completion. This rigorous course is offered twice a year,
before the beginning of each semester.
Students who are continuing with the semester program may take additional Hebrew
courses as part of their semester coursework, and continue to advance through the
levels, as described below.

CURRICULUM
The curriculum is comprised of 11 levels. The beginners' level is taught as an intensive
course only. The other levels are offered as intensive and semester-long courses,
as described in detail in our Ulpan level descriptions (download the Word document).
